Back in 1998 I was an Au Pair for this wonderful Family in Stamford. They had two beautiful daughters I got to take care of and neighbors that were like family. Now of course those little girls are all grown up and even more beautiful. They are still best friends with the (not anymore) neighbors, Cathy and Dave. So last year Cathy asked me if I would like to take their daughters Bat Mitzvah pictures. Almost immediately I broke out in cold sweat, haha. Since I am not an event photographer and don’t have the equipment for such an important event we agreed on me taking the portraits before the actual event. We went to the synagogue  the day before where we got some nice shots and after her ceremony we took some more pictures of her in her awesome dress. Since Rebecca is a swimmer her Mom had the great idea of taking some pictures at the pool. Here are just a few of the hundreds we got. I hope you like them! Thanks again!

In 1998 war ich ein Au Pair für diese wunderbare Familie in Stamford. Sie hatten zwei süße Töchter auf die ich aufpassen durfte und Nachbarn die sozusagen zur Familie gehörten. Inzwischen sind die Mädels natürlich fast erwachsen und sehr hübsch. Und sie sind immer noch dicke mit den (nicht mehr) Nachbarn, Cathy und Dave. Letztes Jahr fragte mich Cathy ob ich Lust hätte Rebecca’s Bat Mitzvah Bilder zu machen. Mir ist sofort der Angstschweiß ausgebrochen, haha. Da ich keine Event Fotografin bin und auch nicht das nötige Equipment dafür habe haben wir uns darauf geeinigt daß ich die Portraits Vor dem Event machen werde. We sind am Vortag in die Synagoge gefahren und haben dort ein paar schöne Bilder gemacht und nach der Zeremonie am nächsten Tag haben wir noch Bilder von ihr in ihrem tollen Kleid gemacht. Und da Rebecca eine Schwimmerin ist hatte ihr Mutter die Idee Bilder am Pool zu machen. Hier sind ein paar wenige von den Hunderten die wir an den beiden Tagen geschossen haben.
